The operator

Which legal entity operates the service

Skellig Capithorn is a commercial designation for the entity that administers and maintains this platform and the accompanying trading interface.

The organisation responsible for operations is the party with whom you enter into a binding relationship upon our acceptance of Terms of Use and open an account. Its full registered name, its legal form, its registered particulars and the identity of the group it belongs to are set out in the client agreement you receive at onboarding, and are supplied on request through the routes described in the "Requesting documentation" section below.

Since organisational arrangements, corporate registration details and operational structures are subject to modification, we choose not to present them as permanent language in promotional materials. The binding client terms and supplementary documentation provided to you constitute the definitive reference; should discrepancies exist between this page and said documentation, the latter takes precedence.

Group companies and service providers

Certain functions - technology hosting, payment processing, market data, customer identification tools - are carried out by specialist third-party providers under written agreements. The categories of provider we use, and the way your personal data is handled by them, are described in our Privacy Policy. We do not disclose service provider identities on this page.

Framework

The regulatory framework we work within

We describe here the type of obligations that govern the service, rather than naming authorities or quoting reference numbers, which belong in the formal documentation.

  1. 01

    Client identification

All accounts undergo authentication prior to deposit, commencement of trading or any funds extraction, consistent with the verification and regulatory requirements outlined on our KYC & AML page.

  2. 02

    Financial-crime prevention

Sanctions and risk screening, ongoing transaction monitoring, internal escalation procedures and record retention for the periods required by applicable law.

  3. 03

    Handling of client money

Client balances are recorded separately from the operating funds of the business, and payouts are returned to a verified instrument in the client's own name.

  4. 04

    Fair and clear communication

Costs, spreads and any applicable fees are published in your account and on our pricing page. We do not promise specific returns, and all promotional material carries a risk warning.

  5. 05

    Data protection

Personal data is processed on a defined lawful basis, retained only as long as necessary, and protected by access controls and encryption in transit and at rest.

  6. 06

    Complaints handling

A written internal complaints procedure with acknowledgement, investigation and a substantive reply within the timeframe stated when your complaint is logged.

Where a jurisdiction imposes stricter local requirements than those above, the stricter requirement applies to clients resident there.

Documentation

How to request corporate and compliance documents

Clients, prospective clients and professional counterparties may request our corporate and compliance documentation. We provide it on request rather than publishing it openly.

What can be requested

  • Verification of the business entity operating the platform and its registered corporate details.
  • Your active client contract and the applicable fee schedule tied to your specific account.
  • A summary of our AML and client-identification procedures.
  • The complaints-handling procedure and escalation route.
  • Data-protection information relating to your own personal data.

How to make the request

  1. 01

    Write to us

Use the contact route on our contact page. Put "Regulatory documentation request" in the subject line.

  2. 02

    Identify yourself

Specify whether you hold an active account with us (provide the associated email) or are prospective, plus specify which materials you require.

  3. 03

    Receive the pack

Inquiries are addressed within the response period indicated upon acknowledgment of your submission. Extracts may be provided in place of full documents where proprietary operational information is contained therein.

Materials are transmitted to the authorised contact information maintained in our records. Transmission of account-linked documentation to a third party requires your explicit prior consent in writing.

Contact

Regulatory and compliance questions

Enquiries concerning our regulatory standing, our policy frameworks regarding regulatory adherence, or any matter you wish formally examined should be submitted via the compliance pathway rather than routine enquiries.

How do I raise a compliance question?

Send it through the contact page and mark it "Compliance". Include the account email address if you already hold an account, and describe the question in a sentence or two.

How do I make a formal complaint?

Send via the identical path and include "Complaint" in the subject field. You shall receive an acknowledgment notice, a case reference, and notice of the anticipated resolution interval. Should the determination fail to adequately resolve your concern, the communication shall outline available further recourse mechanisms.

What procedure should I follow to flag illegal transactions or unauthorised use of our intellectual property?

Use the report abuse page. Impersonation of Skellig Capithorn in messages, adverts or cloned sites should be reported there so we can act on it.

Are institutional or press enquiries handled here?

Yes - send them through the contact page with a clear subject line and they will be routed to the right team.
